If you love travelling, this "Discover Slovenia" giclée print from my Bucket List series is for you. Slovenia is a beautiful country and Bled Island has to be one of the most beautiful locations in the world. Interestingly, it is one of the "greenest" places in the world. Slovenia is the world's first "Green" country (since 2016) and Lake Bled is the perfect demonstration of why that is - despite being the top attraction in the country, it is completely unpolluted because motorboats are forbidden on it - you can row yourself to the island or hire an oarsman. The water of the lake is also extremely warm so you could go for a swim if you wanted to. I love creating digital art and I put lots of love into each illustration. I started doing it this summer. You can see a few other pieces from my Bucket List series on my instagram @designedbytatiana I create all my work using Procreate and this illustration took me 5 hours to make. The print is of very high quality (because it is a giclée print and it has a beautiful lustre shine) For each bucket list destination, I find some legends associated with the place. Here is a legend I love about Bled Island: A long time ago, the area now covered by Lake Bled was a valley full of lush, green grass, where local shepherds would bring their sheep. At night, fairies would dance there because the grass felt so good against their feet. The fairies grew worried that the sheep would eat all their precious grass and so they asked the shepherds to build a fence around their dancing area, but the shepherds refused. Soon enough, all the grass was eaten. As revenge, the fairies flooded the valley and created an island in the middle - Bled Island, where they could continue to dance
